Hawaiian Islands Land Trust (HILT) seeks a full-time, energetic and exceptional Development Director (DD). HILT is a nationally accredited non-profit land trust with a mission to protect the places in Hawaii that sustain us for current and future generations. Charged by the Executive Director, the primary responsibilities include: (1) Plan and implement strategies to secure needed charitable contributions to support HILT’s operations while expanding and diversifying HILT’s donor base; (2) Plan and implement strategic outreach, communication and marketing initiatives that generate awareness and support; and (3) Help plan and implement strategies so that HILT succeeds with its fundraising campaigns. DD supervises an Assistant Development Director. Candidates must be ethical, hard-working and positive, passionate about land conservation, and should have a Bachelor’s degree, at least three years of non-profit development experience, and applicable computer proficiency.
