Throughout your visit, the four of you will each enjoy spa treatments; croquet lessons & play; one round of golf; and picnic lunch. Then move into the Saintsbury Vineyard for three nights and prepare for some fun. Be a “winemaker for a day” with Jeff Owens, winemaker at Odette Estate, the newest winery in the Stags Leap district and sister winery to Cade and Plumpjack. Venture out into the vines/cellars at Odette for a firsthand, “from-the-vine-to-the-bottle” educational experience. Break for a vineyard luncheon catered by Bouchon Bakery and expertly paired with wines from Plumpjack/Cade. As a memento, take home mixed 1/2 case of first vintage Adaptation chardonnay and cabernet sauvignon wine per couple. Round out your stay with a hot air balloon ride for 4 followed by champagne breakfast at Domain Chandon; dinner at Fish Story; and guided field trips with Napa Valley Land Trust to the Foote Botanical Preserve at Mt. Guided Kaupo Hunt & Private Dinner with Chef Brian Etheredge, 2 people

Kaupo Hunt and Private Dinner with Brian Etheredge to benefit the Hawaiian Islands Land TrustThis 2-day/ 1-night package features a guided hunt on Kaupo Ranch’s 8,000+ acres of pristine land on Haleakala’s leeward slope. Help with the ranch’s game management program and conservation efforts: each hunter will be allowed one each (male or female) of Axis deer, Polynesian feral goat, and pig. The two-day hunt—either bow or rifle—will be guided by Kaupo hunter and Maui native Robin Kean. Each hunter must possess a valid State of Hawaii hunting license.
During the overnight stay at the historic Kaupo Ranch house, Chef Brian Etheredge, owner of Capische restaurant in Hotel Wailea and avid hunter himself, will cook an extraordinary meal using exotic game meats from the ranch. Learn one-on-one his tips and secrets in preparing wild game for an extraordinary meal. “If you love the outdoors, this is the hunt of a lifetime,” says Kekoa Kaluhiwa, one of last year winning bidders. “Kaupo Ranch offers an opportunity to hunt at different elevations and terrain, it was an amazing experience. Robin was a superb host and the dinner prepared by Chef Brian was first class.”

Activities are weather permitting. Some black out days may apply. One month prior notice mandatory to arrange hunt. Bring your own lunch, snacks, liquids, hunting gear. This excursion is limited to adults and/or child accompanied by a legal guardian in good physical condition (12 years and older.) Persons with a history of respiratory or cardiac problems, or anyone currently under the care of a physician, should check with their doctor prior to participating in this hunt.
