Here are a few updates from Hawaiian Islands Land Trust for May 2017:

Project Updates:

Ke‘anae Lo‘i, Maui

Ke‘anae Lo‘i

Funding for the Ke‘anae Lo‘i project is currently pending with the State Legacy Land program. We are also raising private funds for the project and remain hopeful that we will be able to permanently protect these loi on the historic Ke‘anae peninsula.

Honolulu Coffee Company, Kealakekua Hawai‘i

HILT is moving forward with the acquisition of the 150-acre conservation easement. This Honolulu Cofee Company projects are located in the Kealakekua Ridge on the Hawai‘i Island’s Iconic Lands list. The conservation easement will protect the agricultural and natural resources on the land and help preserve these lands for productive agriculture.
