Aloha HILT ‘Ohana,

Hakipu‘u Lo‘i, O‘ahu
Trust for Public Land is awaiting the release of the City and County funds to transfer the property to Ka Huli O Haloa, HILT and the City and County of Honolulu will retain a conservation easement on the land to ensure the protection of the natural and cultural resources.
Ke‘anae Lo‘i, Maui
The Ke‘anae Lo‘i project has been recommended for funding by the State Legacy Land Commission. However, the Legacy Land program funding is dependent upon the legislatures approval of the Governor and DLNR’s budget request for one-time increase in funding to reallocate legacy land program funds which lapsed in 2015. The one-time funding increase will provide much needed funding for the 6-acre Ke‘anae Lo‘i project.
Honolulu Coffee Company Phase 2, Kealakekua, Hawai‘i
Honolulu Coffee Company is awaiting subdivision with the County of Hawai‘i. HILT will then be able to acquire a 150-acre conservation easement on this beautiful farm in Kealakekua, Hawai‘i.
Pali to Puamana, Maui
HILT is exploring opportunities to protect the coastal and scenic lands along the Pali to Puamana corridor. .
HILT has a number of new projects in the pipeline that we will be sharing soon!
HILT is looking to build upon our corporate partnership program. If your company would like to partner with HILT, please contact Kawika Burgess at firstname.lastname@example.org.
